　　变形：比较级：farther further; 最高级：farthest furthest;

　　far可以用作副词

　　far的基本意思是“远”,可指距离的远,也可指时间的远。指距离时,一般用于否定句或疑问句,在肯定句中,多用a long way代替far。但far如位于too或so之后,则可以用于肯定句; 与其他副词或介词连用时,也可以用于肯定句。far不与kilometre等表示确切距离的词语连用。

　　far可用在比较级前,表示“过于…”“…得多”。

　　far作“太,极”解时,无比较级和最高级。
