I purchase my own clothes most of the time and there are many dresses I really like to wear and among them the leather jacket that I have is my most favorite. This is a brown colored stylish jacket that I purchased 2 years ago. I bought it from an expensive brand shop which mainly sells winter dresses.
After I moved to the capital city, I found my old winder dresses to become backdated and I was planning to purchase a new one. The jacket I bought is really a favourite piece of clothing I have in my collection. I bought it mainly because I needed a new cloth for the winter season and this one looked very stylish and seemed like made by good materials. I wandered in several shops and markets and was having a hard time finding a stylish and good looking jacket. All of a sudden this one caught my eyes and after trying it in the trial room, I instantly decided to purchase it.
I wear it only the winter season and this jacket gives me warmth I need to protect from the chilly and cold weather. I like it very much as it goes with my choice and need. Some of my friends appreciated this piece of cloth and they inquired where I purchased it from. I can wear it with both the casual and formal dresses and that gives me a good advantage. Besides fashion, this cloth offers utilitarian values as well. I feel comfortable and protected in this dress and it did not cost me a lot.
I don’t have a huge collection of dresses and I do not purchase dresses that I would not wear. But sometimes I find myself in dilemma when I purchase a dress and later on find it very ordinary. But this leather jacket was exceptional. I have felt a great joy after I purchased it and still this is the best winter jacket I have. For all those reasons this dress has become my most favourite piece of cloth I own.

Brief introduction
I’m not really that into clothes. I do try and look fairly smart but I’m not that bothered by my personal appearance and the clothes I’m wearing. But I will tell about my favorite article of clothing – my leather jacket. That is by some distance my favorite piece of clothing.
What it is and looks like
It’s a fairly normal or regular leather jacket. The one unusual feature I suppose is that it has white stripes down the sleeves. It’s also quite well-worn by now because I’ve had it some time and I tend to wear throughout the winter months. In fact it’s got quite a few little tears where it’s caught on sharp objects. I still love it though and I don’t mind at all that it looks rather second-hand.
When I bought it
I bought it at least 5 years ago now. It came from one of those big department stores and not a specialist leather shop. My old coat was very shabby and I was told by my girlfriend that I definitely needed to buy another one – I think she was embarrassed to be seen with me.
Where I bought it
So I went out by myself. I think it must have been sometime in January when the New Year sales were on. My girlfriend wanted to come with me and help me choose something smart but I said I would do it by myself. We shop in very different ways. She always wants to try everything on and can spend hours buying nothing. My approach is quite different. If I see something that I like and it fits I buy it. She might be two hours in a shop while I normally only take 15 minutes.
Why I bought it
Anyway I saw this jacket and I thought that it looked really cool. I had always secretly wanted a leather jacket and because the sales were on and it was reduced by 50% I just bought it. My girlfriend was really shocked when she saw what I had bought.
Why I like it
I like it because it’s different – it;’s just not like any other clothes I have in my wardrobe.

My favorite piece of clothing is a cheongsam which is a kind of traditional female dress with distinctive Chinese features. Although this kind of female dress could date back to, ah, let me see, probably Qing Dynasty, it really enjoys a growing popularity in the international world of high fashion as well as common people's everyday lives in China.
I received this dress from my grandma on last Spring Festival. To be quite honest with you, it was a big surprise since I was so used to the red envelops (with cash inside) from her. It's made of pure silk which is best of the best and I used to wear it 6 days in a row cause it feels so comfortable and almost everyone loves it. Plus, grandma's happy to see how much I love this dress! And I love it even more since it's from my grandma. It's the best ever surprise I've got.
