Why I Take CET-6?
Nowadays there is an increasing number of people taking the College English Test Band 6. They feel the need to further their English sludy after passing CET-4 and use the test as a motive and means to keep on learning English. Still there are some people who think it is unnecessary to take CET-6. They remain satisfied with their having passed GET-4, leave English behind and never study it again.
I am of the opinion that we should take CET-6 for the followihe reasons:
First, having passed CET-4 only shows that you have mastered the basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This is far from enough. We should aim high and achieve more.
Second, with the development of national eeonomy, and the open-door policy of our government, there is an increasing need for using English to communicate. We should not only listen, read and write English well but alu speak fluently. CET-6 has a higher requirement of the examinees and can serve an a way to stinaulate our study.
Last but not least, CET-6 is set by language experts in a scientific and standard way so as to evaluate a student's English ability. Many enterprises hire empoyees with the requirement that they pass CET-6. So to be more competitive in the job market, we also need to further our English study by taking CET-6.
I take CET-6 not only for the certification but also for the interests it arouses in me to better my Enghsh. Even after I pass the test, I will continue learning English.
我为什么参加大学英语六级考试?
当今，越来越多的人参加大学英语六x级考试。他们感到在通过英语四级后有必要以考试作动力来促进自己继续学习;而有些人却认为没有必要。他们对通过四级已经满足，把英语丢在脑后，不再学了。
我认为我们应该参加英语六级考试，其理由如下：
首先，通过英语四级考试只说明你掌握了听、说、读、写的基本技能。这远远不够。我们应该树立大目标，取得更大的成绩。
其次，随着国民经济的发展和政府的对外开放，越来越需要用英语进行交流。我们不仅要会听、读、写，还要流利地说英语。英语六级考试对考生的要求更高，可以促进我们的学习。
最后但不是最不重要，英语六级考试由语言专家用科学、标准的方法命题，以便衡量一个学生的英语能力。许多企业要求其雇员通过英语六级考试。因此，为了在求职市场上更具竞争力，我们也需要借助参加六级考试来进一步学好英语。
我参加英语六级考试不仅是为了获得证书，还因为它激发我对英语的兴趣。即使通过了考试，我也将继续学习英语。

Casablanca《卡萨布兰卡》
The story happened during the Second World War. Rick worked for American Intelligence Agency[1] in Paris. One day he met with Ilsa in Paris. They soon fell in love and planned to marry. However, with the German's march into Paris, they had to give up the plan and wished to get to Marseilles by train and married there. But just before the leaving by train, Rick received a letter from Ilsa, saying that she couldn't go with him. So he had to pass through many places to Casablanca and runs a Cafe[2] there. One night, he met Ilsa at his Cafe, who escaped with her husband to Casablanca. They hoped to obtain exit visas here and escaped to the New World At first, Rick can't forgive that Ilsa's gone back on[3] her word. At first he refuses to help them get the exit visas. Learning this Ilsa determines to go alone to see Rick.
Then Ilsa tells Rick that why she had to leave him without any explanation. In fact when Ilsa met Rick, she had married Laszlo, one of the leaders of French underground Party organization. Shortly after their marriage, Laszlo was apprehended by Gestapo[4]. Soon the word came that Laszlo was shot to death when trying to escape the concentration camp[5]. When she met Rick, she found he is her true love. But when she planed to leave Paris with Rick, her friend came to tell her that Laszlo was alive. He was very sick and needed her. She had no choice but left without saying goodbye. Another important reason is that she dared not tell anybody she had married Laszlo, an important leader of the French Resistance. If Gestapo found out she was Laszlo's wife, it would be dangerous for her and Rick. Learning this Rick forgives Ilsa. When Rick see that Laszlo also loves Ilsa deeply, and for their more important cause, he decided to sacrifice his love. Rick takes a risk to[6] help the Laszlos get the exit visas. At the airport Rick see off[7] his loved women and her husband leave Casablanca。

Lin Zhenhua, a graduate of Hefei No. 1 Middle School, scored 671, the highest in the city for the college entrance examination of science students. He was enrolled in University of Science and Technology of China.
Lin was from an ordinary worker's family. His parents are only junior middle school graduates. They seldom watch TV and often encourage him to join in the playing of the violin and practising Chinese calligraphy, which benefits him a great deal. Besides, he lives with his grandparents. The three generations are in harmony and that lays the foundauon for Lin Zhenhua's success.
Another reason for his success is that he has a sense of responsiblhty in addition to an intelligent mind. Once his teacher, Mr. Zhang Keyun, accidentally broke his right arm. He insisted on giving the lecture turning over the book with his left hand. Lin was greatly moved. From this bo came to understand a teacher's sense of responsibility and obligation.
There are two ways to listen to lectures. One is to take notes while listoning. The other is to listen only without taking notes. He writes down the main points in his notebook and reviews them after class or before a teat. Lin Zhenhua says" I never leave today's work for tomorrow."
Maybe that is his key to suecess.
成功的关键
林振华，合肥第一中学的学生，以全市高考理科最高分671分的成绩考入中国科学技术大学。
林出生于普通工人家庭。父母仅是初中毕业。他们很少看电视，经常鼓励他拉小提琴，练书法，使他受益匪浅。他和祖父母住在一起，三代人和睦相处，为林振华的成功奠定了基础。
他成功的另一原因是，除了有聪明的头脑外，他还有一种责任感。有一次，他的老师张可运不幸摔坏了右臂，他坚持用左手翻书上课。林深受感动。从此，他理解了教师的责任和义务。
听课有两种方法。一种是边听边记笔记，另一种是只听不记。他在笔记本中记下要点，并在课后、考前进行复习。林振华说：“我从不把今天的事留到明天去做。”
