最好的寒假 The Best Winter Vacation
As the winter vacation has come, my families decide to do something different. We spend the time in foreign country, which is a very warm place for me. We fly to Thailand and it is the summer weather all the time. I feel so comfortable and enjoy the sunshine there. It is the best winter holiday for me.
寒假来了，我的家人决定过一个与平时不一样的假期。我们去了国外一个非常温暖的地方。我们飞到泰国，那里一直都是夏天的气候。我觉得很舒服，享受着那里的阳光。这对我来说是最好的寒假。
厦门游A Trip To Xiamen
Last winter holiday, I visited to Xiamen with my parentsby plane. My English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of visiting. We stayed there for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen University is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in China. Indeed, it's fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, We visited to Gulangyu. It's amazing and I like it very much. There are many small specific stores. However, the huge tourist visitors make the small island crowed. Anyway, it was a pleasant trip.

Since I was very small, there was a song about Guilin“I want to Guilin, but when I have money, I don’t have time…’’, this is the first impression I have on Guilin, it is so attracting. When I was in high school, I had the chance to visit there, in the winter holiday, my mother asked me to go there with her to visit an old friend. I was so excited, my long dream would come true. I packed my stuff, went to the bus. In the morning, we arrived atGuilin, this was the first time I got so close to it, I took a deep breath, watching all the things in the street. During the winter holiday, I visited all the scene there, they were so beautiful, no wonder people said“Guilin’s scenery ranks first”.

我的寒假生活 My Winter Holiday
During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any more.
寒假期间，因为春节和其他原因我很开心。假期期间，我父母和我回到河北的乡下老家。我已经好几年没回去了，所以看到过去这些年这座小村庄发生的巨大变化我感到很惊讶。几乎村里的每一户人家都有彩电，有的还有了电脑。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房随处可见，但是现在它们看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托车或者甚至是私家车也已不再是奢侈品了。
One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were going to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy in their farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and money to relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
一位村民骄傲地告诉我他和其他一些村民跟团出国旅游了。以前，村民们一整年都忙于农活，但是现在它们有更多时间和钱去放松娱乐。旅游已经成为在村民当中已经成为一种新潮流了。看到这些惊人的变化，我爸爸说他一退休就想回到家乡。而我也强烈支持他的观点。
