当天，英文老师替紧张的我们打扮得引人注目，把脸蛋画上浓浓的妆，帮头发设计造型。到了休息区先加紧认真练习，我们是第十一组，大家有时专注的练习，有时从电视中观赏其他队伍的演出。当到了第十组演出时，我们各个冒出带着不安的汗水，脸色显露出恐惧，而老师则是拉高嗓音，不断的重复「一定得放大音量！」……等等的注意事项，这些提醒使我们更加惶惶不安！
「现在，请第十一组上台！」那时，我们各个头皮发麻，全身僵硬，勉强憋住气露出了硬梆梆、不好看的微笑。上台了，我们该大声时大声，并做出夸张的手势，且露出了牙齿，做出邪恶张牙舞爪的动作，下面的观众与评审则是，时而被我们的演出所感染而跟着微笑，时而因我们可怕的表情而露出了受惊吓的神色。下台时，我们把原先僵硬的脸蛋放轻松。此时，我们自然得露出了浅浅的微笑。
「万岁！万岁！我们入选了！」我们在三十二个参赛队中勇夺第五名！这句话在我心中不停的吶喊着、打转着，脸上同时浮现了混杂着骄傲与感动的神情。此刻，老师兴奋的又叫又跳，还自掏腰包买可乐及冰淇淋犒赏我们，这一切都要感谢老师辛苦的教导及同学们合作无间的奋力演出，期许我们在决赛中能够赢得更亮眼的成绩。
