亲爱的孩子：

什么能满足人的灵魂呢?既然灵魂不是物质的，那么物质的一定不能满足，只有造人灵魂的神才能满足。奥古斯丁说，人的灵魂是神所造的，惟有神才能满足。这就是许多某宗教教徒常常快乐的原因。真正的某宗教教徒是不会得忧郁症的，是不会自杀的，也不会离婚的，人为什么会离婚?其中的一个原因也是因为发现婚姻不能真正的满足他们的灵魂需要，当然还有其他的原因了。
耶稣说，人若赚得全世界，却赔上自己的灵魂，有什么益处呢?人还能拿什么换灵魂呢?他又说：我来了，是要叫羊(人)得生命，并且得的更丰盛，他还说，人若渴了(灵魂的渴)，可以到我这里来喝。
耶稣又说，我就是生命(灵魂)的粮，到我这里来的，必定不饿，信我的必定不渴(灵魂不再饥渴)。
不失其所者久，死而不亡者寿
老子的这句话，我没有皈信耶稣某宗教之前，我是不懂的，但是我读了圣经之后，我明白了是什么意思了。
不失其所者久，“所”是指居住的地主，就是居所的意思，人类的居所在哪里呢?什么居所可以让我们永远不会失去呢?所有的物质的居所都不能永久的存在，《圣经》诗篇90篇告诉我们，神是我们的居所，并且是永远的。他是人类灵魂永远的归宿，人只要找到了这个居所，就找到了永远的家了。 这就是不失其所者，并且是永远(久)的。
死而不亡者寿是什么意思呢?人死了为什么又不亡呢?老子在这里告诉我们，人是有灵魂的，不但老子相信人有灵魂，中国许多的古人都是相信的，可惜现在的人把老祖宗的东西都丢弃了，所以才活得这样的空虚。
耶稣说：“复活在我，生命也在我，信我的人，虽然死了，也必复活。”信耶稣的人就得到了永生了。耶稣(他是神)是人灵魂永远的家，是人惟一的归宿，找到了他，就找到安息，(他说，凡劳苦担重担的人，可以到我这里来，我就使你们得安息)，找到了他就找到了真正的满足和喜乐。因为人的灵魂是他所造的，惟有他才能满足。
