　　As we all know,we now live in the 21st century .Our life is getting more and more convenient than before .We don’t have to wash clothes by hands or go to a far place on foot.Nowadays,mobile phones are common as telephones.Our life is getting more comfortable,too.We have big houses,computers,televisions and so on.Especial the computer enables us to do many things.We can search information on Internet ,play games ,listen to music and so on.We can also say we live in a peaceful century.My country—China is getting stronger and stronger.So we must study hard to keep up with the fast developing society.We shall strength our great China with our knowledge in the future.I think I’m lucky to live in such a wonderful century!

　　Secondly, because of the advance in medical technologywhich leads to better medical care and treatment, people's lifeexpectancy is longer. moreover, most people now can afford to buy foods of high nutrition and enjoy their leisure time.

　　Thirdly, modern conveniences such as radio, tv, internet, various vehicles and labour-saving machines in the home, all greatly facilitate human communication, transportation and housework as well.

　　In conclusion, although the 21st century has indeed givenus a lot of advantages, it may not have made us wiser, becauseit has also made our earth dirtier, our people less humane, andour spirituali iife poorer, we shpuld continue to enjoy thebenefits of technological advancement,however, we mustmake a concerted effort to preserve our natural environmentfor future generations. moreover, we should take the timenow to make our lives more meaningful in anihcreasingly impersonal, computerized world.
